We have made it to day 3, week 2 of the Summer Learning Journey. In the 1930s, there was a great lost in jobs and money. Lots of people lost their jobs, making it hard to look after families. That period of time is called the 'Great Depression'. Our first task for today is to write down what we do when we are stressed/mad. How do we relax? This is what I do most, depending on the different situation.
Bonus Activity-
If I'm annoyed with brother-
1) Leave the room and head to my room.
2) Grab a book and forget about everything else that has happened.
3) Once I've cooled down, go back and pretend our fight never happened.
Fight with friend (on email mainly)-
1) Shut down the tab.
2) Close my chromebook.
3) Do gymnastics.
4) Once cooled down, go back on Chromebook.
5) Stay off emails until I'm ready to talk it trough
Too much school work-
1) Dela with the task as they come their way.
2) If stressing out too much, watch youtube.
3) Work on the task at home
Lost something I need asap-
1) Keep walking around the house
2) Take a break
3) Continue to search until I find it
Hi there Lauren,
ReplyDeleteJade F here from the Summer Learning Journey. Good job on this activity. I thought your various scenarios and ways of dealing with stress from those scenarios were insightful and you seem to be a real expert on getting rid of stress! I do the same thing you do when I get annoyed with my younger siblings! I need to separate myself from the situation and then do something to take my mind off it like read a book or watch something on Netflix.
Awesome work Lauren, keep it up!
Jade F :)
