Richard Fisher's Funeral

For drama we are working on our monologues, our solo scripts. We got a free choice about what we wanted to talk about. I ended up finding a script which, in short, is basically about a girl whose father died but he was a (some-what) abusive and a mean farther. It says a short memory about when her and her younger brother got in serious trouble and how he kept shouting at them. My intentions I hope to achieve through this script is to relate with the characters feelings (not personally of coarse) and express the 'hidden' relief that her farther is finally gone. Also the sadly childhood that she had to experience would come to an end. That she wouldn't have to feel afraid of her farther anymore and she could finally feel safe. It's quite a big role to take on so I hope that I can do a somewhat good job with it.
