Government

A SEEL paragraph is a short but effective piece of writing. The S stands for 'Statement', the E for
'Explanation', the second E for 'Example' and the last L for 'Link'. I did the SEEL paragraph to quickly
explain what government is.

Government is a system run by a number of people. The citizens give the government the power to
make decisions over the people as long as they look after them in return.

This means that the government is allowed to set rules and decisions for the people. In return for the
people, they have to look after them and provide needs such as money ect.

For example, if the citizens wanted to have a new rule/law they would have to take it to the government
and it’s their final choice whether to agree or decline.

This shows that government is run by many people; without the citizens, there would be no
government and it also takes a group effort/many people to run the government.
