Summer Learning Journey:Day 2, Part 1

Welcome to day 2, week 3 of the Summer Learning Journey. In the 1960s, there was a great deal of change for New Zealand. Technology was evolving and the first tvs were introduced to New Zealand. Tv still remains popular up till this day. Our first task for today is to write down and explain about our favorite Tv show.

Activity 1-
Um.... Yeah. I don't really have a favorite tv show. But one of the shows I like to watch would have to be.... Ninja Warrior or Got Talent. I like watching both of these. If I were to choose one, I would choose Ninja Warrior. I like it because it can get heart racing to see if the person you want to win, will make the obstacle course. It is really fun to watch. If they fail, you (I) scream "NO!!!!". :) I like all the Got Talent shows, because it is fun to watch what cool things people can do. It is sometimes scary to watch people dislocate bones and to swallow swords etc. I mainly like the Britain's Got Talent and Australian Ninja Warrior editions.

  1. Hi there Lauren

Another awesome post. I loved reading the TV shows that you enjoy watching. That’s so cool that you like watching Ninja Warrior and the Got Talent shows. I enjoy watching the Got Talent shows with my family some times and I completely agree with feeling a bit freaked out when watching the talents like dislocating bones and eating swords. In fact I watched an episode of America’s Got Talent last night and a guy fired himself out of a canon over a running helicopter and I wanted to close my eyes but I couldn’t stop watching! What’s your favourite kind of acts on the show do you enjoy watching most? Mine’s usually the dancing and the magicians. Ninja Warrior is also a classic show that I used to watch back when I was in high school! I always found it impressive how strong and enduring those contestants were!

Looking forward to reading more of blog Lauren, keep it up!
