Olympics Reading

We have been learning about the Olympics and we have an Olympics based activity for the next 2 weeks. It is where we have 2 activities per day and a blog post for extra points. The total points we can earn per day is 18 and the people that have the most will get a gold, silver and bronze medal. I have done the 1st activity and this is what we had to do-

We had to pick a sport we would want to do a very long time ago, in the first Olympics. Then we had to explain why we wanted to do it and how are we good at it.

This is what I did-

Our next activity was when we got to research who was 'Milo Of Kroton'. Then we had to share 3 interesting facts about him on our blog. Here is what my 3 facts were, -

1. He is a BC wrestling and he enjoined to do some wrestling. He was wrestling in the 6th-Century, what a long time ago!
2. He was from the city of Corton and won many victories while wrestling.
3. No ones knows the date of when he died but they report that he died by trying to tear a tree apart but his hands got stuck and a pack of wolves found him and you know how that would end (NOT GOOD!)

For bonus points, we had to write a blog post about when only men could take part and woman were forbidden to even watch. Was it fair or not, here is what I thought-

Here is my slide so you can keep on track of what I'm up to with it-
