James and The Giant Peach

This week we have been reading the book, James and The Giant Peach. Now we are writing about their characters. I have finished mine and this is mine, hope you like it!

James and The Giant Peach Character Description Writing

Have you read the book, James and The Giant Peach? Well in this book, there are three main characters. Their names are James, who is a sweet harmless little boy and I’m sorry to say but he is forced to live with two horrid, wicked aunts. The two aunts are Aunt Spiker who looks like a long thin stick and Aunt Sponge as you could tell is a fat piglike short girl.

When James was four years old, his parents died when they got eaten by a rhino that had escaped from a zoo. James’s house was immediately sold and he had no family members but his aunts.

The two aunts outside may seem different to each other but they are very much alike, in bad ways. They are both curl and very lazy. They make poor James do all the work while they sit down and have a drink of lemonade or whatever. As you can see so far, James no longer has a happy life.

James is a friendly little boy and is as obedient as a dog learning tricks. He’s is as helpless as a fish that is caught in a net. Even though the two evil and devilish aunts are heartless towards him, James still shows respect to them and never answers back unless told so. Sadly, James doesn’t have any friends but the animals.

The only things that are similar to James and the Aunts are not their personalities but their relationship. Both of them are obviously humans and they are family. None of them know answers to everything and they still have feelings, some not so good (aunts).

Overall, James and the two aunts are so different because James is kind and loving while the aunts are evil and cold.
