Inquiry Term 2

This term for inquiry, we have been studying about materials. Materials are a natural source that can be made into something else. We also learnt their properties and want it meant. It means what the object or thing is made up of. For example, the properties for flice would be fiber or cotton. Getting it so far?
When we understood and got a lot of information, we got in a group and created a slideshow about what we already know. I was with Philip, Lily and Josh. All the work that I have done has my name on it.

This is the slide we were doing-

Well by the end of the term, we are going to be making something with the following safe materials. Wool/fabric, clay/dough, paper and plastic. I didn't know what to make at first but all I knew was that I wanted it to do with knitting (see older posts for more information). I also knew that we had to tell the teacher what we wanted to make within ten minutes! I looked through the Knitting Ideas (it has now been updated) but I still couldn't find anything! I searched on the internet and with a bit of luck, and I finally found something. It was a cute baby polar bear who had a big head and a tiny body which made it even cuter!

This is the picture and it is also on the knitting ideas slide post, slide 31
