Our task is to answer these following questions-
1) What does live performance mean?
It is a performance that you can see in person, not on the tv screen. They are standing right in front of you and they can't use video editing for it.
2) What could go wrong in a live performance?
Someone could fall down or trip over while doing a certain trick or simply just by walking. Someone may need to cough, yawn, sneeze ect. WIth the pressure of the audience, someone might forget a certain part (as seen on Dance Moms).
3) What did you like about this performance (The Greatest Showmen as listed above)?
That everyone was in sync. You could tell that they would practise back to back non stop. They did a good job singing and not panting after doing the cool movements. No one banged into each other and the background dancers did a good job.
Our next task is to find a different live performance that we like. Once we did that (and post the link on our blog) we have to write a short blurb about it. Then we have to write 3 things about what we like about it.
I choose to do mine on a dance solo, featured on Dance Moms, Chloe's solo, Dream On A Star. It is my favorite dance I've watched.
This dance features Chloe Lukasiak dancing to Dream On A Star sung by Kadie Hodges. She won 1st place for Junior Solo. A fun fact was that the ALDC's (Abby Lee Dance Company) rivals, The Candy Apples, stole Chloe's dance music and danced to it.
Three things I like about it-
1. The choreography, costumes and music all matched up perfectly.
2. Chloe preformed it so elegantly and didn't miss a beat.
3. Even though Candy Apples stole her music, Chloe performed it WAY better.
