Have you heard? There is a Uru Manuka Logo Competition. Uru Manuka is a cluster of different school. There are 8 school in total. Hornby High, South Hornby, Hornby Primary, Gilberthorpes School, Sockburn School, St Bernadettes School, Templeton School and Yaldhurst School. Is your school listed? It is? Great! You are now eligible to enter the competition. Think about the Uru Manuka means to you. Create it on a digital tool or simply do it on a piece of paper. Once done, enter it on the Uru Manuka Logo Competition Tab.

For more information, visit their website.

This is my one I created

Here is a background story of how it came to be. The growing flower is because their Motto is 'Inspiring Futures'. So I decided the flower topic because nature is inspiring to some people. It is still not fully grown like us kids. Our future hasn't been created yet. I put the logo Uru Manuka because it is about Uru Manuka. I said grow a bright future because school is the foundation of our future. What we learn now will affect our future. So make the most of school while you can. The watering can is the teachers. What is school without teachers? They are the ones that guided us to who we are today.
