Families in certain parts of the world are struggling everyday to find clean water. The women and daughters have to walk up to 3 hours to find the nearest source of water. On the way there they can get hurt or even attacked. Even when they make it home, the water is still dirty. But still, they don't have any choice but to drink it. Every 15-17 seconds, a child dies to lack of water.
Our task it to figure out a way, using science, how we can help them get better access to water. Our groups idea is to get a plastic bag and put it over a few leaves/branches. Wrap the opening with a rubber band or string. Check on it the next day. There should be water from the condensation. We hope that this will help the people with lack of water get at least a better chance of surviving.
