We have been planning to create this club since the end of term one and have been given permission in term two by our principal. Last week we have had a meeting about it and next week, we will start to teach them if they have signed a permission form we gave to the in the meeting. Sixteen kids from the middles signed up and Tia and I will be providing the needles for all of them including us (we have 18 kids including myself and Tia!)
I have provided about 14-15 pairs, Tia only provided 3 pairs of knitting needles and one of the kids have their own pair. One of the kids already knows how to knit and only came to learn to cast on. The Learn To Knit Club is held every Monday at lunch times.
I want to show some youtube videos to them and they are all by Studio Knit- my favorite knitting teacher (youtube).
