Solar System

In Science we are studying the planets of our Solar System. I worked with Louise and Myka on this.

Here are some interesting facts about the planets, listed from smallest to largest.

Mercury:
Mercury is named after the Roman god of messenger.

Mars:
There is a chocolate bar names Mars; eventually there will be a ring around Mars.

Venus:
Venus is the hottest planet in our solar system because of thick clouds.

Earth:
Earth is the only planet with a livable environment for us (humans).

Neptune:
Neptune is named after the Roman god of the sea.

Uranus:
It is the coldest planet of all of them.

Saturn:
It has a big ring surrounding it.

Jupiter:
Jupiter spins the fastest of it's axis of all the planets.
