Solo Performance At Music

In music last week we performed our solo pieces on an instrument of our choice. I choose to do it on piano. I choose piano because we have a piano at home and my brother is a really really great pianist. The song I did was 'I Need U' by BTS, I choose it because my brother had learnt it before and because I really like BTS and already wanted to cover one of their songs. I think that my performance went alright, I did have some timing issues at various times throughout the performance. What kept me going was thinking to myself 'no one knows the song so they won't know that I made a mistake' and that had worked and kept me going. After watching it back, something that I would work on is my timing of the song and the fingering of the notes. I didn't know how to do the chorus and I went with what ever I could come up with so I didn't do that good with my timing at that part. I also think that I had really rushed through the song, mostly at the start.
