Term Reflection
For the first half of the year, I choose to do Home Economics as one of my subjects this year. We have done multiple baking such as pastries, a case of some sort, pikelets and more. Our focus for this term was to make something 3 times and to improve it each time. I choose to made Blueberry muffins with my team. The first time we either other mixed it or over-baked the muffins. The second time it turned out quite pale and took a lot longer to cook in the oven. There was also a slight possibility that we might have used regular flour instead of self-raising flour cause they didn't raise that much in the oven. The third and final time we added about a Tbsp of plain yoghurt to make the outcome a bit for moist. The feedback we got mostly said about using more cinnamon and sugar topping to each muffin and to add more blueberries to the mix. The yoghurt had really helped out with our recipe. Through the term I think that I did a god job in contributing with the team's work. The only thing I would say that I could improve on was learning how to turn on an oven. I was never the on who turned it on in the group and the one time I did I did it incorrectly. Overall I was happy with our teamwork each week.
