Camp (At Glentiu)! Part 2

Last week we went on camp. Click this link to find out what we did on day one.

This is my favorite activity from the first day, Archey-

The next day we had a very  very long walk. To go on the long walk, we needed to get a good sleep. It was reasonably noisy on the first night, but when Mrs McGuinnity came in and said that if we don't keep quiet, she would leave the door open and let the bugs in. I was as silent as a mouse the whole night. I was never talking since we went to bed. Tia was as silence as me but everyone knew she was awake because she kept on moving. Everyone thought I was asleep but I wasn't (at least I hoped I was asleep). This meant that Tia and I weren't part of that noise (which is a good thing). After Mrs McGuinnity left, our cabin was dead silent. In the morning, everyone in our cabin had a good sleep. We were ready for the walk. We got told that the walk was going to be AT LEAST 10.7 k. Everyone had their gear ready and packed, we were ready. We lined up in our activity groups (1-10) and my group leader was Mr Rush. Then we set off on the dreadful walk. The first bit was the hard bit, it was uphill. I managed to catch up with Tia and we had a long chat. Then we reached the start of the loop track. We waited there for the others then we had morning tea. Then we went on the loop track and went back to the camp base. After that, we had lunch. This had to be one of my favorite meals on camp, fish and chips! After dinner we went dam building. The water was as cold as Ice pool in Winter. After we dried off, we went swimming in the pool (which was as cold as the dam) then had dinner. For dinner, we had Lasagna and corn on a cob! That was as good as the fish and chips.

It was a nice dinner but then we had the auction...
