Compensation

For maths, we learnt about compensation. Compensation is where a multiplication problem like 8x87=; it would make it easier (to find out the answer). You would round up to the nearest ten then times that (so it would be 8x90) . If you added more to round up, you would minus how many you added. For 8x87, you would round it up to 90. So 8x90= 720. Because from 87, you added 3 to get to 90, this is what you would do- 3x8=24. 24-720=696. The answer is 696.

This is what I made, the question was 8x202...
