Summer Learning Journey:Day 4, Bonus Activity

Today's bonus activity talks about how many women, during the World War, chose to be nurses. Nurses help the injured soldiers. Our bonus activity is to imagine we are one of those nurses. We are on one of thoses big medical ships. There is a short story provided and we have to finish it off. We need at least 8-10 sentences to earn full points.

Bonus Activity-
Starter of the story - One day you are walking along the deck of the ship when you hear a loud bang. You start to run as you see smoke coming from the far end of the ship. You run towards the room where your patients are waiting to receive treatment from the doctor. Just as you arrive at the door to their room you hear another loud bang and you…

My story - drop to the the ground. There are fighter planes flying above, and they are not from your side. The German's circle around and around the ship. Firing bullets as they do. But you have to check on your patients. You crawl to the door handle, keeping as low to the ground as you can. Lucky, there is a sheltered roof over the treatment bay. You head inside, trying not to be spotted. As you go in, you look at all the terrified faces on the men. Everyone just wants to go home. So do you. As you are about to comfort them, you hear a loud explosion, followed by the sound of bubbling oil. The plane hit the engines with one of their bullets. The oil is leaking out. The planes leave the ship and leave you to died. The boat starts sinking. Nurses and doctors rush to transfer the soldiers onto the emegans raft. You go to do the same, but you can't save all of them. Someone needs to drop the boats into the water, from the control room. That person is you...
